Abstract

Padang Industrial Training Center (BDI Padang) is a work unit under
the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) of the
Indonesian Ministry of Industry, which is engaged in education and industrial
training for HR (Human Resources) Apparatus and Small and Medium Industries
with specialization and competence in embroidery and fashion. At BDI Padang,
especially the education and training staff section, there is no registration
information system and training participant data management, such as manual
biodata form filling, manual input of participant scores by instructors in the form
of filling out assessments on assessment sheets and filling out evaluation sheets
that are still on sale. The accumulation of participant data in paper files is neither
effective nor efficient. If it is not handled computerized in the form of digital data,
then the data will accumulate so that the search for data will take quite a lot of
time so that it can hamper other activities.
The purpose of the 3 in 1 education and training system is to make it
easier for education and training providers to manage training data in the form of
training data, training evaluations, training certificates, teacher data and training
participant data and make it easier for participants to register for training.
Provide convenience for teachers in managing the value of training participants.
Based on the existing problems, the author tries to overcome these problems by
building a Website-Based 3 In 1 Training Information System at the Padang
Industrial Training Center, using MySQL as a database management system and
in the system design the author also uses PHP as a programming language.
