PENGARUH ENVURONMENTAL,SOCIAL,AND GOVERNANCE (ESG)TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM (SEKTOR PRBANKAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA 2018-2022)

This research aims to determine the influence of the environment, social and
governance on company stock returns. This research uses a sample of banking companies
contained in ESG star issuer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the
2018-2022 period. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive
statistical analysis and uses STATA v.17 software. The data in this research uses secondary
data in the form of panel data taken from financial reports and company sustainability
reports. The results of this research indicate that environmental disclosure and social
disclosure have an influence on company stock returns. In further analysis, governance
disclosure has no influence on company stock returns. The environment has a positive
influence on company stock returns and social has a negative influence on banking
company share returns. Meanwhile, governance has no influence on banking company
stock returns. Simultaneous testing shows that environmental, social and governance have
a significant effect on stock returns in banking companies.
