PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK WIRAUSAHA DAN KOMPETENSI SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA TERHADAP KINERJA UMKM KOTA PADANG

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh karakteristik wirausaha dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja UMKM Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah UMKM Kota Padang, khususnya kecamatan Padang Barat berjumlah 3.921 pelaku usaha, dengan sampel sebanyak 134 responden. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kemudian diolah dan diuji dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan karakteristik wirausaha berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM. Begitu juga dengan kompetensi SDM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out how entrepreneurial characteristics and human resource competencies influence the performance of Padang City MSMEs. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this research is Padang City MSMEs, specifically West Padang subdistrict, totaling 3,921 business actors, with a sample of 134 respondents. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and then processed and tested using SPSS. The results of this research show that entrepreneurial characteristics have a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs. Likewise, HR competency has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance.
