The data presented for each variable is in the form of a frequency distribution where each
respondent provides an assessment according to the actual situation. This research uses a
saturated sampling technique, where the sample is all 58 employees. The analysis
technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Before the data is processed, a
classical assumption test is carried out first.
In this research, the type of research is based on the method used, namely
quantitative research methods. data collection using research instruments, data analysis
is quantitative or statistical. To simplify the calculation of validity and reliability tests,
SPSS Version 26 (Statistical Product and Service Solution) computer software was used.
Types and sources of data used: primary data sources are data sources that directly
provide data to data collectors from the results of questionnaires distributed to employees
of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Padang Imam Bonjol. Secondary data sources are
sources that are indirect through intermediary media or obtained and recorded by other
parties. In this research, secondary data will be obtained from books, literature, articles
and sites on the internet.
The data collection method was carried out using interview or questionnaire
techniques. The form of instrument in this research is a tool for collecting data which was
developed with the help of theoretical studies, operational definitions, causal variables,
effect variables which were then developed with the description of indicators. The form of
primary data collection instrument is by using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The
questionnaire used in this research was prepared using a Likert scale. The following
describes the variables, variable concepts, indicators and measuring tools in making
questionnaires. With a Likert scale, the variables to be measured are translated into
indicator variables. Then these variable indicators are used as a starting point for
compiling instrument items which can be in the form of statements or questions. The
answer to each instrument item using a Likert scale has a gradation from very positive to
very negative. The alternative answer is using a Likert scale, namely by giving a score to
each question answer.
Respondent characteristics are a description of the respondent's identity, which in
this study includes characteristics based on gender, age, employee status, highest level of
education, salary, length of service and marital status. The normality test is useful to find
out whether the residuals are normally distributed or not. The multicollinearity test aims
to test the existence of a relationship between the independent variables in the model.
vi
Criteria for respondent achievement level (TCR) values. It can be concluded that the
organizational commitment variable with the highest TCR percentage is found in the
statement, this company deserves loyalty from employees with a percentage of 88%.
Meanwhile, the lowest statement is employees who find it difficult to leave the company
and employees who lose if they leave the company with a percentage of 81%.
Furthermore, the work engagement variable with the highest TCR percentage is
found in the statement, employees are proud to tell other people that I am part of this
company with a percentage of 90%. Meanwhile, the lowest statement is that employees
can overcome various difficulties faced in the company with a percentage of 83%.
Next, for the organizational citizenship behavior variable, the highest TCR
percentage is found in the statement, the statement that employees always maintain good
relations with fellow company employees with a percentage of 89%. Meanwhile, the
lowest statement is that employees find it very difficult to adapt to changes in the company
with a percentage of 78%. The test results show that there are no problems of normality,
multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity.
Based on the research results, the results obtained are summarized as follows (1)
The organizational commitment variable partially has a positive and significant effect on
organizational citizenship behavior (2) The work engagement variable partially has a
positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (3) The
organizational commitment variable and work engagement simultaneously has a positive
and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. So it can be concluded that
testing the hypothesis which states that there is a joint (simultaneous) influence of the
independent variable on the dependent variable is acceptable.
